Katie Kaars studied at Sydney College of the Arts where she majored in Photomedia. While completing her honours degree she was included in the prestigious Reportage because her photographic studies we mainly about Sydney families in their homes she was “in search for expressing a sense of place through their personal spaces”.
Having realised photography was going to be her career from a young age Katie started her working career by assisting many Sydney photographers most notably Richard Bailey for several years. After assisting she moved to London for 7 years, where she built up many editorial and advertising clients from around the world. Katie now lives in her native Sydney with her husband and two kids. |
